FAITH PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, COVINGTON, LA - Pastor

Located about an hour away from New Orleans on what is commonly called the North Shore of Lake Pontchartrain among the growing and thriving tri-communities of Madisonville, Mandeville, and Covington.  Faith Presbyterian is a congregation of about 100 members that seeks an ordained pastor who believes, preaches, and teaches the Bible as the infallible Word of God in the Reformed Tradition.  Candidates should be either ordained in the EPC or eligible to be ordained in the EPC.  Present worship style is traditional with some contemporary elements using a variety of music.  Responsibilities include the ministerial duties of preaching, teaching, and ministering to the needs of the congregation through pastoral care, visitation, and counseling.  Current staff consists of a full time Ordained Assistant Pastor (Music & Youth), Director of Children’s Ministry, Church Secretary, and Interim Pastor.  Congregation formed in January 2000 and is worshiping and serving in their newly constructed sanctuary and classroom buildings on eight acres of land.  Candidates who are led by God to consider the opportunity to serve are encouraged to submit the EPC PIF to Search Committee Co-Chairs Henry Beck hfbeck@bellsouth.net and Tom Calvert tcalvert5319@charter.net.

BONHOMME PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH (BPC), SUBURBAN ST. LOUIS, MO – Associate Pastor – Outreach.

This person will be responsible for equipping members of BPC to declare and demonstrate the good news of Jesus Christ through evangelism and mission. This AP will share primary duties for inspirational preaching in both contemporary and traditional worship services making the Gospel relevant to our community. This person should be visionary in developing the role of this newly created position for emphasis on outreach. Must be "well experienced in the field" and an inspirational leader in mission service within the community and across the world. Responsible for educating the congregation as to God's calling us all to serve in His global mission field. Should be an advocate and enabler of missionaries supported by and cultivated within the congregation. Should take a leadership position within the mission community of PCUSA and St. Louis, specifically. This AP will lead some mission teams on local and global trips and will oversee outreach and mission development and budget.

KNOX PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, KENMORE, NY– Senior Pastor/Head of Staff

Knox Presbyterian Church of Kenmore New York is seeking a senior pastor/head of staff for its 350 member congregation. Candidates must possess a minimum of 6 years of experience as a pastor. The candidate must be an excellent communicator, gifted in preaching, teaching and leadership. He must facilitate and lead in the spiritual growth of the congregation as well as interface with the departmental structure of the church to assure a unified focus of ministry.

SUNSET PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, PORTLAND, OR – Minister of Stewardship

Sunset Presbyterian Church is seeking a Minister of Stewardship who will help ensure the biblical principles of stewardship are integrated into every department serving the congregation and every program offered by the church. This person will be a visible and approachable “ambassador” to the congregation, helping develop joyful and generous hearts for giving. Essential duties and responsibilities include:

  • Plan, implement and oversee Biblical stewardship programs for the congregation.
  • Lead implementation of an online component of a planned giving site on the Sunset homepage
  • Develop strong relationships with members who have been generous givers in the past
  • Provide opportunities to interact with members to increase knowledge about the joys of giving
  • Shepherd the implementation of giving programs that are accessible for every member to leave assets/wealth to Sunset
  • Counsel Sunset Leadership Team on stewardship issues/opportunities
  • Communicate regularly with prayer support teams
  • Establish annual measurable goals and strategic objectives in alignment with Sunset Vision
  • Report regularly to Operations and Stewardship Team
  • Other duties as may be assigned by Senior Pastor
  • Communicate regularly with the congregation about principles of giving and the joy of giving and the financial needs of the church.

BAY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH — BAY VILLAGE, OH — Senior Pastor

Bay Presbyterian Church, a strong, energized congregation of 2,200 in Bay Village OH , a Cleveland suburb, is seeking a new Senior Pastor to lead us into a new generation of Christian witness. BPC recently voted by a 92%-to-8% margin to seek dismissal from the PC(USA) for the New Wineskins Presbytery of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church.

Located on the shores of Lake Erie, BPC draws primarily from an affluent, five-suburb area and is considered a bellwether church in the Cleveland ecumenical community. Our stated call is to fulfill the Great Commission by raising up and partnering with congregations on the west side of Cleveland who share in the passion of being Christ’s instrument of transformation in Northeastern Ohio . FAIR OAKS PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH – FAIR OAKS, CA – Senior Pastor

Fair Oaks Presbyterian Church, Fair Oaks CA, located in a suburb east of Sacramento, seeks a Senior Pastor with eight or more years of experience to lead a 2,300 member congregation as Pastor and head of staff whose focus is the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
FOPC is a New Wineskins Association of Churches member and recently hosted the recent Convocation. The congregation recently voted overwhelmingly to request dismissal from the PC(USA) to the Evangelical Presbyterian Church and has been accepted pending dismissal.

The Senior Pastor’s major responsibilities are preaching in the reformed tradition, head of staff of approximately 30 people and moderator of Session. The ideal candidate will be a Godly person with strong biblical expertise, have a personal commitment to Jesus Christ, be led by the Holy Spirit through prayer and act with humility, integrity and strong moral conviction.

COVENANT PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH – JACKSON, MS – Senior Pastor

500 member church located in the capital city of Mississippi is seeking a Senior Pastor to serve the congregation. The responsibilities of the senior pastor will include the ministerial duties of preaching, teaching and ministering to the needs of our congregation through pastoral care and counseling. Additionally the Senior Pastor will be responsible for managing and directing the church staff which currently includes a Director of Church Music, Director of Youth activities, a Director of Children’s Activities, a Business Manager, a Church Administrative Assistant as well as a Director of the Covenant Pre-school and the Covenant School for the Arts. While the Senior Pastor would also manage and direct the position of Associate Pastor, a position which is currently open.

We are seeking a Pastor with a Heart for God and vision for God’s work within our church. Our Church has had a mission statement that states simply we are a church that desires “To Seek Christ and to make Him known”. Since our Church has recently made the decision to move from the PCUSA to the EPC, we seek a pastor who is loving, caring and can understand our history.
